Turzai to Host Senior Health Fair, Flu Clinic
McCANDLESS - Rep. Mike Turzai (R-Allegheny) will be hosting a Senior Health Fair on Friday, Oct. 2, from 9 a.m. until noon at the Community College of Allegheny County North Campus in Pittsburgh.

“This event is a great opportunity for senior citizens and their families to access valuable information about safety tips, health care, nutrition and various other state programs available to them,” said Turzai. “We have new groups and new ways to help our citizens.”

Admission to the Health Fair is free; however, appointments are necessary to receive a flu shot. Please call Turzai’s district office at (412) 369-2230 to make an appointment.

More than 50 exhibitors will be on hand to answer questions and provide information on topics including health care, volunteer opportunities, investments, nutrition and exercise.

“Our goal is to make this event bigger and better than ever,” said Turzai. “All seniors and their family members or caregivers from the 28th Legislative District are encouraged to attend what is sure to be a very informative and fun event.”

The Community College of Allegheny County North Campus is located at 8701 Perry Highway in Pittsburgh.
