Speaker Turzai Energy Forum to Highlight Vision for 21st Century Energy Policy

WHAT: Panel discussion and media event with Pennsylvania Speaker of the House Mike Turzai (R-Allegheny) to unveil a vision for 21st century Pennsylvania energy policy and the necessity of growing Marcellus/Utica Shale-related usage.

WHO: Turzai and 10 House colleagues, including Reps. Sandra Major (R- Susquehanna/Wayne) and Karen Boback (R-Luzerne/Wyoming), will join global energy leaders and expert panelists from local and regional businesses, the natural gas vehicle industry and the manufacturing sector.

WHY: Pennsylvania stands at the precipice of developing into a global energy hub, but the industry must be allowed to grow while providing downstream benefits of natural gas on our economy and in our communities.

WHEN: Thursday, May 14, from 9 a.m. to noon, with media invited throughout and individual interviews starting at 11:45 a.m.

WHERE: Keystone College, Brooks Hall Theatre, One College Green, La Plume.
