Speaker Turzai Calls for Full Protection of Marcellus Shale-Related Jobs

WHAT: Press event with Pennsylvania Speaker of the House Mike Turzai to discuss the necessity of protecting Marcellus Shale-related jobs.

WHO: Turzai and Jason Norris, vice president commercial, Dura-Bond Industries.

WHY: Dura-Bond announced 150 jobs will be created due to Marcellus Shale use and development. Dura-Bond had produced just 200 miles of pipeline for Dominion since 2006 and has now received a 550-mile order, the largest in company history. More than 240,000 Pennsylvania jobs related to Marcellus Shale are at stake in upcoming state budget discussions.
