House Republican Policy Committee to Hold Hearing on Welfare Reform

WHAT:  The House Republican Policy Committee, chaired by Rep. Mike Turzai (R-Allegheny), will hold a public hearing on welfare reform. 

WHO:  Retired employees from the Office of the Inspector General will testify.  They will discuss policy changes under the Rendell Administration that have resulted in a dramatic decrease in the number of welfare fraud investigations conducted by the Office of the Inspector General. 

WHEN:  Monday, April 30 

TIME:  1 p.m. 

WHERE:  Room G50, Irvis Office Building, Harrisburg, PA. 
Directions:  Enter through the main entrance of the Irvis Office Building.  Take a left, Room G50 is at the end of the hall on the right.
